At SpaceX, he played a key role in building life-critical infrastructure and founded the Site Reliability Team for Starlink, the world’s largest satellite constellation. Most recently, at Varda Space Industries, Matt continued to apply his expertise in large-scale systems engineering. His extensive experience gives him a deep understanding of the challenges involved in managing critical systems and complex organizations.

Meteorology Advisor

Ben has a Bachelor of Science degree in Synoptic Meteorology and a Masters in IT Management from Purdue University. He is a published author, community leader, and serves as the Open Source Community Lead at Kusari. In the past, he has spent time at Red Hat, Docker, and others. As a former storm chaser, Ben brings intimate knowledge of the weather and a keen appreciation of presenting important information in a timely manner.

Dr. Nicole Forsgren is considered one of the most prominent and important minds in DevOps and developer productivity. She is a Partner at Microsoft, where she works with the Office of the CTO to improve Microsoft’s developer expeirence and leads Developer Experience Lab where she investigates productivity and novel applications of AI to improve software engineering. She is author of two best-selling, award-winning books: Accelerate: The Science of Lean Software and DevOps, which netted a Shingo Publication Award, and The DevOps Handbook: How to Create World-Class Agility, Reliability & Security in Technology Organizations, now in its second edition. She is best known for her work measuring the technology process and as the lead investigator on the largest DevOps studies to date. She has been an entrepreneur (with an exit to Google), professor, developer, sysadmin, and performance engineer.
